About Us

We're a group of organic gardeners in the Duxbury/Waterbury area who rent individual plots in a peaceful space near the Winooski River. We often donate food to our local fresh food shelf, Waterbury Common Market.

We're happy to have respectful visitors and school/class visits! Click on the address below for Google Maps directions.

Most plots are 20 feet x 20 feet and rent for the entire gardening season. Please email for information.

Our growing space, of about 1/2 acre, has been flooded several times since July 2023. We are in a 1/100 year flood zone and we haven't found a new home. We can accept tax deductible donations through the Vermont Garden Network that we'll use to practice resilience and sustainability in the face of climate change.

We rely on the generosity of our neighbors to keep our rental fees affordable. Please reach out if you have used garden tools looking for a new home. We're in particular need of hay forks and a broad fork, even if just to borrow.
